On November 2 Ottawa students, labour solidarity partners, and community members will be going ALL OUT in support of universal, public post-secondary education in Canada.
10AM - Free Breakfast in the University Centre (UC) Atrium
11AM - Rally in the UC Atrium
11:30AM - Get on the bus outside the UC to head to the uOttawa rally.
Join students and community supporters in the Atrium of the UniCentre (4th floor) for a short rally and to get ready to head to uOttawa. A free breakfast will be available starting at 10am followed by a rally at 11am. Following several short speeches from students, staff and faculty we will board busses to head to uOttawa. Bring signs, flags, banners and noise makers! Free snacks and coffee will be provided. ASL interpretation will be available.
11:00AM - Meet at Atrium Guigue Building for bus to uOttawa
Noon - Rally on Tabaret Lawn
12:30 - March to Parliament Hill
Join students and community supporters outside Tabaret Hall to get ready to march to Parliament. Following several short speeches from students, staff and faculty we will assemble on the street and march to Parliament Hill. Bring signs, flags, banners and noise makers! Free snacks and coffee will be provided. ASL interpretation will be available.
1:00pm - Rally of Parliament Hill
Speakers on the hill include National Chairperson Bilan Arte, Elder Annie Smith St. George and Canadian Labour Congress Executive Vice-President Donald Lafleur.
